Feels like it was centuries ago since I posted something here, but I just haven't gotten around to draw something that's postable. These last few weeks I've been taking some trips down nostalgia lane, watching through some of the old He-Man and She-Ra cartoons. We never had much She-Ra here in Sweden, but I remember seeing a few episodes. I've always had a thing for the castles of She-Ra, and especially this one, BrightMoon, Which I've always found to be of a great design. There aren't many pictures of it around the interenet, so I thought of making my own version. It's not really accurate to what was on the show, but then again, the castle looked different in every scene. I've tried to stay true to the feeling of the show... tried to use the same kind of colors but in a more modern way. Working on some more She-Ra pics... hope I get the time to finish them.
Oh my goodness, it truly has been awhile since I we saw anything from you. THis is a great way to break the mold.
This piece is stunning. I really do like the landscape. And I like how you used broken lines to outline the structure of the building. The shading and light source is beautiful. And the soft transitions in colors are nicely done. Wonderful work my friend~
Thanks Yeah, I should try to be a bit more productive... Have too many half finished pictures lying around I wasn't sure about the black outlines, but I'm not very good without them. Might do a remake of this if I get inspired

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.

When I'm inspired, I tend to pace rapid circles around pieces of furniture. What about you?
